Luiss among the top universities in the world for Social Sciences and Management studies

This result emerges from the QS World University Ranking by Subjects 2021 of which Luiss Guido Carli is a member since 2016.

The University ranked 48th place in the world in the subject of Politics and International Studies, took 105th place in Business & Management, both Law and Accounting & Finance classified within the 101-150 group, and Economics & Econometrics was reconfirmed in the 201-250 group.

Luiss has experienced a steady yet significant growth in the past years, bringing the University to position itself 181st in the macro category of Social Sciences and Management

In light of the new Luiss 2021-2024 strategic plan, the University considers it fundamental to develop partnerships with the best universities, governments, companies, and alumni abroad.

The classification of being one of the top 50 universities in the world rewards Luiss’s great work carried out in recent years aiming to consolidate the University’s reputation. These results were realized through investments in innovation and in the internationalization of the teaching staff, and the achievement is a source of pride. Improving the teaching quality and enhancing research activities are the guidelines of the teaching model.

Another factor supporting Luiss’s improved placement in QS World University Ranking by Subjects for the past six years, is Employer’s reputation, that is training young aspiring professionals to develop a skills profile aligning with the new needs of the labor market. In spite of the pandemic, the University was able to meet job supply and demand, in light of its skills mix, profiles and innovative projects supporting students’ training.
